The ICF had an ambitious programme set up for the four hundred in Caux gathered from all corners of the globe to discuss ‘Trust and Integrity in the World Economy’: plenary meetings, workshops and sessions would explore the values, control and power of the media, in particular their relationship and influence on conflict, democracy and economic justice. The schedule boasted an array of speakers and delegates with international credentials and charisma. The mood of good will and expectancy was clearly perceptible.
