Peace circles were recently held in the Solomon Islands and Colombia - women sharing their stories of conflict on issues of violence, family, and ethnic tensions, enables them to address the roots of conflict, and create peace in their communities.

A report of the Winds of Change conference, 29 April to 1 May, held in Honiara, Solomon Islands, with the special participation of Archbishop Desmond Tutu. The document also has reports of the two workshops for former combatants which followed the conference.

A group of 28 former commanders of the Isatabu Freedom Movement (IFM) took part in a course on peace and community building organized by Winds of Change, the Initiatives of Change group in the Solomon Islands.
